About NWCS Chorus
NWCS Chorus was established more than twenty years ago by a group of parents of the Northern Westchester Chinese School who loved Chinese music, culture, and language. The majority of our membership still comes from the Chinese community in Westchester County, NY.
We enjoy singing a variety of music, including Chinese folk and art songs as well as Western popular and classical pieces. Each year, the chorus gives a number of performances, including selected Chinese community events and other activities in the greater New York Metropolitan area.
The chorus meets and practices on Saturday mornings during the school year from 9:15 to 11 am at the Band Room of the Briarcliff Manor Middle School located at 444 Pleasantville Road in Briarcliff Manor, NY
The chorus welcomes new members who are interested in music, Chinese culture and language.
